Whether you’re seeking time for introspection, a deeper understanding of history, or the camaraderie of fellow pilgrims, these trips offer the perfect blend of challenge and serenity.

The Camino de Santiago—also known as the Way of St. James—is a series of ancient pilgrimage routes leading to the shrine of the apostle James in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, where tradition holds that his remains are buried.

Get ready for a truly unforgettable experience! The iconic pilgrimage to the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, northwest Spain, has been a spiritual journey for people from all walks of life for centuries. This isn’t just a hike – it’s a profound voyage that connects deeply with the soul.

The story of this pilgrimage is incredible, spanning over 1,000 years and dating back to the 9th century. The Camino de Santiago is not just a popular path, but a global treasure, officially designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. With multiple routes, each offering its own unique allure, the Camino draws pilgrims, adventurers, and seekers from all over the world.

For hundreds of years, the Camino has been a meeting place for different cultures, languages, and traditions. It’s a vibrant tapestry of human connection, a living testament to exploration and unity.

The Camino de Santiago is more than just a trail; it’s a transformative journey through time, a global gathering, and a life-changing adventure all rolled into one. Today, it has become not just a pilgrimage, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience for those lucky enough to walk its paths.

Join Mark Flagler on Three Iconic Camino Routes
Mark Flagler will introduce you to three of the world-famous Camino routes: the Camino Francés, the Camino Finisterre, and the Celtic Camino. Walking the Camino is truly one of the best experiences of a lifetime. Below are the three Camino Walking Trips that are currently offered.

These trips are suitable for all fitness levels. The routes are well-marked and follow gently graded paths across Spain’s beautiful countryside. While the walks are manageable, we will be walking multiple days in a row, so arriving in good physical condition is recommended. Being in shape will help reduce soreness and minimize the risk of injury. Mark can provide a tailored Camino training program and helpful tips to ensure you’re well-prepared for the journey ahead.

To help you prepare, Mark will also host several virtual face-to-face video sessions where you can ask any questions about the trip. To sign up for a free session, simply email Mark at info@flaglerfilms.com to request an update on the next available session.
