In April 2026, filmmaker and photographer Mark Flagler travelled to Portugal and Spain to capture photographs along the iconic Camino Portuguese Coastal Route.

Over five days, Mark walked and explored many of the spectacular locations found along the Camino, beginning in Porto and travelling north toward Santiago de Compostela. The journey included scenic coastal landscapes, historic towns, ancient pathways and many of the cultural highlights that make this Camino route one of the most popular walking experiences in Europe.

The photographs captured during the trip will be used to help promote upcoming guided Camino walking tours. Mark will begin guiding Camino trips for Ian Taylor Trekking in September 2026, with Camino Portuguese Coastal Route trips beginning in 2027.
