In May 2026, Tourism Ireland hired filmmaker and drone operator Mark Flagler to grade and edit aerial footage showcasing some of the island of Ireland’s most iconic scenic destinations.

The project featured stunning drone footage captured across Ireland, including Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Five Fingers Strand, Knowth, Lough Tay, Malin Head, Mizen Head, Newgrange, Powerscourt and the Wicklow Mountains.

The footage highlights the incredible natural beauty, dramatic coastlines, ancient heritage sites and spectacular landscapes found throughout the island of Ireland. Tourism Ireland will use the finished content within Ireland’s Content Pool to help promote these destinations to audiences around the world.
